Google Calendar Data: We request access to read and write to your Google Calendar to help you sync your study schedules and deadlines.
Google Tasks Data: We request access to your Google Tasks to allow you to manage your learning objectives directly from our dashboard.
Optional Health Data: On Android, if you grant permission through Health Connect, we may read daily steps, calories, and heart rate data to populate the Health & Fitness widget.
Application Data: Study logs, progress tracking, notes, and flashcards you create within the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to reflect the core functionality of VertexDB:

To personalize your dashboard experience.
To synchronize your study sessions with your Google Calendar.
To manage your learning tasks via Google Tasks.
To show your optional Health & Fitness summary inside the Android app when you enable Health Connect access.
To store and sync your progress across devices using Firebase.

4. Health Connect Data

Health data access is optional and only used after you explicitly grant permission on your Android device. We use this information only to display your personal wellness summary inside the app. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers.

Google API Services Disclosure

VertexDB's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.
